The Digestive System

You eat a bag of chips and then you wonder where does it go from there?
Well, first of all it goes through a process called digestion. Then it makes its way through a series of organs in the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract); the mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. Plus a couple of glands, including the salivary glands, pancreas, and liver. This is known as the digestive system. On this web site you will find a link to each part of the digestive tract.
